iMEAT will take place in Bologna from Sunday, October 11, to Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the city’s exhibition centre.
The event dedicated to the meat sector reaches its tenth edition and also changes location.
From Modena, it moves to Bologna for a historic edition which, for the first time, will take place in autumn instead of spring.
BolognaFiere will host the major international B2B trade fair, a certified event that allows companies to access calls for funding and financial support for participation.
iMEAT is the only event organised in Italy dedicated exclusively to the meat sector for retail businesses, such as butcher shops and delicatessens, specialised catering, and the small food industry.
The exhibition area is divided into four main sections:
Technology and Industry: equipment, processing and preservation machinery, flavourings, and ingredients;
Food and Cooking: a selection of premium meats, finished products, and equipment for professional cooking;
iFISH: an area dedicated to products and equipment also suitable for fishmongers and the fish industry;
Ibarbecue Professional: an area focused on the latest innovations in professional open-fire cooking.
iMEAT is enriched by a wide programme of events, including:
Masterclasses and Live Demos: modern cutting techniques, advanced ageing methods, and show cooking;
Business workshops: meetings on how to improve point-of-sale profitability and adapt to new consumer trends.
