Since early 2024, the Hotel Cosmopolitan Bologna has embarked on a radical journey towards reducing its environmental impact. We have eliminated the use of fossil fuels, electrified all our energy consumption and use only energy from renewable sources, some of which is self-generated via our solar panel system.
We constantly monitor our energy consumption using the ViVACE® platform and offset the carbon footprint of residual emissions that we cannot yet eliminate entirely by funding certified carbon credits in support of local projects such as Blue Valley in the Venice Lagoon.
For us, sustainability means concrete and measurable actions: LED technology, water-saving systems, electric mobility and continuous energy efficiency improvements.
